In ND7, IBM Lotus add a very useful feature called Discover Folder. It helps users locate which folder an e-mail is located in. Since this useful feature does not exist in ND6, here is a tip similar to this new feature.

First expand your folder (and subfolder) list. Then, under All Documents view (or other view you prefer), highlight your e-mail and then press "Insert" key.

Hitting the "Insert" key will switch an e-mail between Read and Unread. This Unread status will also be indicated by the number next to the folder.

By pressing the Insert key several times, you should be able to spot which folder the e-mail is located in.

This tip does not apply to Calendar events or Sent mail.
